Looking at the Sky

Walking through the world without looking up does not befit us as human beings. We must look, we must start seeing again the wonders that surround us, lift our heads, and lose ourselves in the infinite. Only this can save us from despair, from anger, from the brutality with which we often wound each other.

Michael Levchenko, a Ukrainian artist, leaves us a message of hope through his work. He represents man as open to life, with a mind where thoughts race endlessly, just like memories, which can help us avoid repeating the same mistakes.

His work is a balanced interplay of sinuous and dynamic lines, and the hollow space at the center of the sculpture becomes a free space—an open, luminous eye filled with new interpretations for those willing to change their perspective and look at the sky.

Clauzetto Marble is well suited to this message: white, compact, and easy to sculpt for an experienced artist.
